"I've begun the steps towards repairing all the damage I've done to myself over the last 10 years"
I was sick of resorting to unhealthy behaviors to 'feel' like I'm losing weight, my goal at the beginning was to have good self esteem and look good.
Overwhelmed would be the best way to describe how I felt at first.
Every week was different, some weeks I felt like I was getting somewhere and other weeks I started to panic thinking I had plateaued.
I had massive highs when I could see centimeters coming off and massive lows just a few days after.
By the end though I learned how to make food my friend instead of my crutch and I've realized this is only the beginning towards repairing all the damage I've done to my body dieting over the last 10 years.
I'm beginning to see the changes I want to see and that's what has kept me going.
It wasn't all sunshine and roses but the main thing is I haven't given up, chopped or changed my methods. I have gotten back on the same wagon whenever I fell off.
I'm very optimistic about the next stage of my journey.
